Moved!

Finally moved my personal blog here. Got tired of updating it manually! I really want to get my own domain but daryltay.com is taken. Any suggestions?

Failed suggestions:

Falldownboy.com – Rubin’s joke at my love for Fall Out Boy

Singlerdaryl – meant to read Single R Daryl (cos ppl always spell my name Darryl), but it sounds like I’m more single than someone else

Idiotsexempted – the “sex” in the middle kinda stands out, which is not what I want.

If you suggest something and I actually buy that domain, I’ll buy you a cup of Starbucks!

  1. Since you’re known as uniquefrequency (on various social media channels), why not uniquefrequency.com?

Or, if you want your name, maybe you could try a .name domain? Like, http://daryltay.name or http://daryl.tay.name/

  2. I wanted to get daryltay.com, but it’s taken!

Uniquefrequency remains my “proper” website. Going to re-purchase the domain and setup wordpress there by the end of the month.

  3. Yeah, .com is taken…but there are other domain extensions. And .name was actually created for the purpose of personal websites. So yeah, why not try daryltay.name?

  4. therealdaryl? (cos the real and daryl sound similar) darylfarm? (dairyfarm hahah) sosaysdaryl? (ok, not so creative) darylrhymeswithbarrel? (lagi not creative, but cute!) darylthink? (cos it sounds like the real thing)

    rejected: darylict (derelict/darylick hahahaha)

As you can see, I am full of nonsense like this! :P

  5. you know what I think your domain should be ;)
    xx

  6. daryltay.net and daryltay.org are still available. Use daryltay.net and also register daryltay.org not prevent other daryl tay to use this.

You may also want to consider daryltay.sg it costs a lot more than the gTLD however, it could be the beginning of a good personal brand.

  7. how about a .sg one? I’ve been contemplating to get one myself too… haha… still fighting war with my pocket.

  8. why you ignore my darlyday.com suggestion? -hurt-
