Who’s Dating The Guys In Their Mid 20s?
I was out with Le Raine yesterday and she mentioned that the smart girls go out with the older guys, say 26 and up.
So I looked at her and said “That’s very disturbing for a guy turning 24.”
I see it not empirically, but anecdotally at least with my friends, dating guys many years older than they are, and it seems to be going fine, although I can’t wrap my mind around the idea of dating someone 8 years younger, for example. So you have the 21s with the 27s, the 24s with the 30s, so on and so forth.
So again that brings us back to the question. If the alpha females in their late teens/early 20s are dating the guys in their late 20s, who does that leave the males in their early 20s with?
That’s why…finding a partner is never easy. Girls that are young (below 20) can be freaking immature.

@mlmaestro: it’s true! it’s like we’re almost left with the younger girls, or those in their early 20s who for some reason aren’t already with someone (and we know what that means).

Haha. Tough isn’t it? But at least there’s something we can take heart in…we are guys. Our value goes up as we age.
Not the same for ladies though, that’s why they need to get attached earlier.

Older guys gives us a sense of security, wisdom, maturity and what not. 24 year old… you should go find barely legal girls to hang out with
Oh not to mention, after dating a much older guy, even if we break up anytime soon, I wouldn’t go back to dating a guy my age group anymore…

Generally speaking, girls mature faster than guys and coupled with the fact that girls prefer stability, it’s no wonder that girls end up dating guys who are aged much older than them. Some even strike off guys who are of the same age.
Of course the above factors can blind women from dating young, mature and stable guys like *cough* Daryl.
And to answer your qn. You can hang outside secondary schools and date the jailbaits. WAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHH!!!
I’ve always dated guys at least 4 years older than me. In fact, my current bf is about 12 years older than me, and sometimes I still find him very childish(in a good way).

Biological age doesn’t matter at all to me - it’s the according demographics that do. Older guys *usually* tend to be more experienced, independent, financially savvy and mature. They’ve had years of being burnt by rejections, they’ve been to more places and lived on their own - key differences that usually come with age; key differences that result in their being powerfully attractive to younger girls. Having said that, I know many guys who have never grown up at all. So. To get the ladies, regardless of age: read a lot, meet as many people as you can, have something interesting to say, live away from your parents, avoid cynicism, tell her she’s a lovely woman, and mean it.
Also, brush your teeth. That’s crucial.
Btw: I wasn’t implying that girls who don’t go for older guys aren’t smart - simply that it’s a smart move to make in general.
Definitely agree with you on the younger girls… Girls my age (28) think they’re too bloody mature for their own good. Hence my current date’s 6yrs younger. Less maintence and strenous on the wallet too! And it helps tt i snatched her away frm her bf who’s 23 and seemed way too immature when compared to me. Younger girls rock. (:

@Le Raine: Well alpha female not as in the reverse of alpha male like the dominant species. I meant it in the “alpha class’ kinda way. Y’know what I mean? I’m going to disagree a bit with the read a lot bit. It’s not like our local girls are known for being widely read themselves (present company excluded). Very interesting points though. I should do more “research” into this. You’re test subject #1 okay?

Funnily enough, I would have thought that older women would be lower maintenance because they have their own income and aren’t as clingy as younger, more immature girls.
Older men (generally) do not check handphones on the sly, nor do they prevent their girlfriends from having fun alone (e.g. clubbing/pubbing).

at the end of the day, it’s not really the age of the men but the maturity level right? so chances are the older the men, the more mature and probably more secure they are which explains their lack of silly actions..
