I took a photowalk last week. It was a nice, crisp Friday morning after class. The pictures are of those immediately around my neighbourhood and school.

Unless you’ve not switched on the radio or tuned into MTV this entire summer, you’d probably be very familiar with the highly infectious hit “Shake It” by Metro Station. I was, and actually picked up the cd in Kingston (for all of $11) and was hooked on the album literally within the first two listens.

I was expecting a crazy time, but this really blew my mind. Cops everywhere (just for safety, no one was hurt as far as I could tell), people on the roofs, alcohol everywhere and generally intoxicated people all over the streets. Watch the videos!

Three episodes in, I think it’s a good time to check in on Fringe, the latest work from JJ Abrams (creator of both Lost and Alias, who is also working on the next Star Trek film).

After the disappointment that was season two of Heroes, I had hoped that they’d bounce back, and it seems like they did.
First, I love how practically everyone who’s been someone in the show has returned, (Elle, Adam Monroe, Linderman, Kaito Nakamura) and that Mama Petrelli and Ando are now regulars!

Kingston, as I have mentioned before, is a really small place. We kinda have one downtown and another mall about half an hour away and that’s about it. One cinema in the immediate area.
