Music Mondays XXVII: Ryan Star – Last Train Home
Since today’s our fourth month together, I thought I’d go with an awesome love song that I heard just once while driving home, but it grabbed me immediately: Last Train Home by Ryan Star (not to be confused with the other song with the same name by the Lostprophets).
There’s no official music video yet, so here’s an acoustic version from a live radio show:
Reading the lyrics, a lot of the song is about being separated when the couple was younger, but the more important part: all that is secondary, knowing the other person is going to be there.
And if you wait for me,
I’ll be the light in the dark if you lose your way.
And if you wait for me,
I’ll be your voice when you don’t know what to say.
I’ll be your shelter,
I’ll be your fate.
I’ll be forever,
wait for me.
I’ll be the last train,
I’ll be the last train home.
and if you’re interested, here’s the full version (non-acoustic), but it has bits of Smallville weaved in and out.
“Your dad said, stay away from my daughter.”
he better not say that..lol
love the song too ! =)))
@iammyy: haha obviously i hope that is not a part that relates!!
Great song! There is a real music video for Last Train Home, its just not on youtube. If this link doesn’t work then search for it on msn music.
