My Expectations Going In To X-Men Origins: Wolverine

If all things go as planned, tomorrow the girlfriend and I will catch X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and I’ve decided in advance I will leave my utter dislike for Wolverine as a character at the door (though I think Hugh Jackman makes a good Wolverine), and I will clear my mind of all the glaring continuity errors in the movie and enjoy it as an action movie.
That said, it’s still a comic book movie and they are still using comic book characters, so I have the following hopes:
1) Deadpool better kick ass like he should, and he better be “The Merc With The Mouth” like he should.
2) Cyclops better not be a whiny punk
3) Gambit better justify why we’ve had to wait four movies before we got to see him
4) The action should blow my mind.
5) Young Wolverine (James Howlett) better not be a whiny punk either.
6) Kestrel (played by Will.i.am) to have a cool scene just like Nightcrawler did in X-men 2
7) Dominic Monaghan to kick ass as Bolt
8 ) Kevin Durand to kick ass as the Blob
9) Sabretooth to be portrayed as anything other than “Wolverine-lite”
Check back tomorrow to see how the movie fared against eight, very low expectations.
I bet the movie will be awesome if you have lesser expectations.
By the way, Wolverine looks like he is quite angry at that light shining on his face.

Having read some spoilers, I don’t know if I want to watch it. I’m not a huge Wolverine fan anyway.
Anyway, a review would be good since I probably won’t be watching it anytime soon.

I really enjoyed X-men orgins much more than the firt X-men films, fantastic film, really gritty! Also want to give the game a go too!
