Popcorn Prices Are Absurd!
When I caught Star Trek earlier this week, I was pretty surprised to find that a small popcorn and drink combo set is $7.60! If you think about it, that’s more than the price of a movie ticket on weekdays (granted it’s 10 cents more. But more is more).
Seriously though, what’s up with that?
Here’s what I think everyone should do:
- Buy a packet of chips/biscuits/salmon sashimi/whatever before the movie
- Buy a bottle of coke/sprite/lemon tea/whatever you’d be drinking anyway
- Smuggle it in (just put it in your bag)
- Enjoy and save probably half the price
Hopefully in a few months movie outlets will feel the pinch!

I do this all the time! Really, all the snacks sold in the cinemas are crazy expensive. I never buy them!
