This is probably rude but I can’t resist.
This is pretty much what happens when you watch half a season of Alias over two days.
On a side note (oh the pun): check out how the notes look with hats (definitely worth a click!)
In the penultimate Take That week, here’s “Nobody Else”. The music video isn’t the actual video but rather following the boys through the ages -brings back memories!
I have to say on a personal note, I haven’t heard this song in a long time, and it’s taken on a whole new dimension listening to it now [...]
I did pretty well in 2009 with 28 books and 93 graphic novels.
Best book of the year was hands down Rant by Chuck Palahniuk, other worthy mentions include Death Star, the Horus Heresy, the Star Wars Legacy series and The Dip by Seth Godin.
On the graphic novel front, Avengers: The Initiative is a great book, [...]
I don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve seen Arsenal at the top of the table or how long they’ll remain there or if they’ll be there when it matters (on the final day of the season) but for now, I’m happy to savour it.
It’s even sweeter when by 28 minutes the Gunners were [...]
Borderlands was one of the games I was really psyched about in 2009 and although the plot was terribly weak, the game didn’t disappoint.
Guns – so many to choose from, just when you think you’ve found one you’re comfortable with, you kill some enemy and a new one drops. Tired of machine guns? Change to [...]
This week I’m featuring arguably one of Take That’s best songs ever – Back For Good, but with a twist!
We all know the nice, mellow ballad that was sung by the boys, here comes Robbie Williams’s solo rendition at a concert! Love it!
It’s late but I do want to blog about 2009, so up first: Christmas! The guys met to buy lots of groceries at Cold Storage, followed by a massive cookout for one of our better self-made dinners yet.
We tried out hands at mojitos – Johnny manually crushed the ice and mint leaves together to great [...]
Second week of Take That and here’s one of my favourites that the boys have ever done – the song’s a sad one, but I think the lyrics, music and vocals go great together.
An article published today by the Straits Times (it can be found on AsiaOne) has gotten my attention” It talks about how university graduates are “wallowing in self-pity” over unemployment rates and how poly grads have much better attitudes. Let me start this off by saying I’m not getting into the poly vs uni debate. [...]
Super bad day at work, probably the worst of my oh so short career.
Thanks iammyy for being there for me.
