The Fatal “Oh” Moment

While on that amazing 14hr train journey on Friday, I was watching endless episodes of How I Met Your Mother:
Barney: The more you learn about a person, the better chance you have of hitting the fatal “oh” moment.
Marshall: The “oh” moment?
Barney: “Yeah. The moment you find out that one detail about the person that’s gonna [...]

Awesome Air Kicks

Again from How I Met Your Mother, Ted’s girlfriend is leaving for Germany and they have one day left.
Marshall: “Ted, think about it this way, if you knew you were losing your leg tomorrow, would you sit on the couch and cry about it, or would you run and jump and do some awesome air [...]

My New LOST Decoration

My New LOST Decoration

If not readily apparent from my Lost season four review, I’m a huge fan of Lost. So imagine my exhilaration when I saw all four of the Lost series two figures on sale for only $6 each? $24 for some prime room decor is a good deal if you ask me.
First up we have Jin [...]

My Sex And The City Review

Caught SATC on Wednesday with Prof. Mark, Dorothy, Amelia, Michelle and Mark. We were part of a business study mission in New York last December, so it seemed fitting to catch a movie set in New York.
It was a pretty long show at 2.5hours, but I have to say I didn’t feel it was draggy [...]

Sun’s reaction in the chopper
Sawyer’s choice in the chopper
Kate’s dream sequence
The revelation of who’s in the coffin from the end of season three.
Desmond & Penny
What I [...]

Wolverine And The X-Men Trailer!

As far as I know it’s not embeddable, but you can catch it over at Comic Book Resources.
Couple of things I noticed:

No Jean Grey (that’s a first)
Crazy amount of mutant guest stars (Wolfsbane, Domino, Dust, Gambit, Multiple Man, Pyro, Maverick, Mojo)
Iceman’s costume is sleeveless (?!), but I’m just glad he’s in the [...]

Got Cane? (The TV Series, Not The Punishment)

I just finished season 1 of Cane today, a series about a Cuban family in America running a family rum business.
From episode one I had issues with the pacing with the story. Some scenes were so short that they had no meaning and others were a little long. Some storylines were frankly, a waste of [...]
